There are quite a few vegan proteins on the market these days, but you're right to think a lot of them have soy protein isolate in them.
But, there are also a few good high-quality plant-based proteins that do not contain soy such as hemp and brown rice.
My favourite protein powder is from Canadian Protein
. I typically get their complete vegan formula. It's 21g of protein per 30g scoop which is 150 calories. The makeup is hemp, sprouted brown rice and pea isolate.
I think their vanilla is the most versatile flavour, but the chocolate one is also great.
